Mallory (Shute) Pollard
Most recently, Mallory (Shute) Pollard was selected to the USA Field Hockey O35 Masters team, competing internationally in South Aftrica.
She was a 4-year NCAA Division I Field Hockey player at University of Maine. Mallory was a leader on defense, named to the 2009 America East All-Tournament team and 2006 America East All-Rookie Team. She was a 4-year Scholar Athlete and named to “Team Maine” in 2009, representing the top athlete in each sport with the highest grade point average for the year.
Prior to University of Maine, Mallory was a captain for Skowhegan Area High School and led Skowhegan to four consecutive State Championships. Mallory was a two-time NFHCA Regional All-American, Futures Participant, National Futures Tournament participant, a two-time Futures Elite, participated in the 2004 Junior Olympics, and a finalist for Miss Maine Field Hockey.
Margaux (Shute) Poplaski
Margaux (Shute) Poplaski was a 5-year NCAA Division I Field Hockey player at the University of New Hampshire. She was a 3-year starting goalkeeper, playing 99.7% of minutes for the wildcats in those seasons. She was selected to the America East 2nd Team as a senior and was a 5-year winner of the NFHCA Division I National All-Academic Squad. Margaux studied Kinesiology Sport-Studies and Psychology, focusing her degrees in coaching and sport psychology.
After graduation, she was an assistant coach at UNH for 4 seasons (2008-11), leading the 2011 team to an America East Championship and NCAA tournament appearance. She also coached with the USFHA High Performance Program, coaching top players from the northeast. Poplaski now works for the non-profit organization, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and lives in Hampden with her husband and 2 daughters.
